For your viewing pleasure (as it says on the Videos page) there is a live version of "Duchess" from 1993. Hit You Tube or the Videos page to check it out. Live hi-8 camera (including built-in microphone for audio) like the Blacklist video, so, well, it is what it is - a head-swimming video of a kickass live performance!
Also, the compiliation is coming along smoothly. See the previous news entry below for the details!

We're all excited over here with a new project! We're putting together a big compilation of industrial/electronic artists from all over the globe! The theme? Great music. Oh, and educating the public about the myths and misinformation surrounding the current attitude towards respecting artists and their work. In other words, a ton of bands speaking out about their feelings about not paying for music you want, or about how much it really costs to play live shows, or record and release music, or how there is just a disconnect between fans and bands now... many thoughts will be expressed by each contributor, in their own words, in the CD booklet. The profits will be donated to the Future Of Music Coalition. We;re looking for artists and bands for contributions, and for anyone to donate to help us pull this effort off! Stay tuned, and read more about it >>here<<.

The CDs are here. The preorders have shipped, with my gratitude to all those who waited so long.
Metropolis Mail-Order, Storming The Base and Amazon all have it. And CDBaby will too, soon. Of course, you can grab your copy right here.
Mood: pleased.

Whew. It's been a bit of a ride. A lot of back-and-forth getting the covers to look as they should. But you all are worth it - I don't want something 'not quite right' to offer for your hard-earned dollars. And, sad to say, there will be further delay as the printing is not quite right yet. But as soon as possible - it looks like another 7 business days or so - I'll have it. With a drop of luck.
Metropolis Mailorder and Storming The Base will have them in their hands at the same time I do, too.
Thanks, everyone, for your patience. Not one person complained - that's wonderful.
6.27.08
First off, thanks to everyone who pre-ordered the CD of Assumed Outrivaling for your patience while the printing issues get sussed. Not one complaint - you all are wonderful!
And the news is, the booklets have been printed to my approval (3 tries!) and the tray cards should be passing under my eyes next week. Yes, they should have happened at the same time. Crazy.
So, we're looking at a mid-July release, after all is said and done. The day they arrive here, all pre-orders will be packed to be shipped.
Thanks, everyone.
5.24.08
Due to complications in printing, the release date for Assumed Outrivaling has been pushed back to June 17th. Still, as soon as the CDs get to us here, they will ship first to everyone who has pre-ordered them! We've seen how the package is going to print, and it should be quite nice to look at.
5.7.08
Assumed Outrivaling is being pressed as I type! All pre-orders will ship when the CDs get to me here, and the offical release date is May 27. Thanks to those who have already pre-ordered or purchased the high-quality download! And to everyone who grabbed the free download so far, thanks a ton for spending your valuable time in listening to the new record. I hope that if you like it you email me and tell me so, and of course, I hope, too that you'll pick up the CD or pay a little for the high quality download version - you know, help me out a little, help me make more music!
On antother note, I've been busy also with a few other projects over here aside from the regular studio schedule. First up, there are some remixes. Out Out has recently remixed tracks for Obszon Geschopf, PTYL, Silent Narcotic, Everything Goes Cold, Psy'Aviah and Circus Of Dead Squirrels, among others. Keep your eyes/ears peeled for those.

The "Assumed Outrivaling" CD is heading to the plant! But -and this is a big but -it can be preordered in the shop right now! All CD orders for "Assumed Outrivaling" include a free high-quality download - in about a day or so, you will receive a link in email to download the MP3s to enjoy right away.
But - and this is an even bigger but - you can hit the banner link above, or click >>here<< to go to a page where you can order the CD (again, on pre-order) and immediately be redirected to the download link after you check out. (This is great if you're not going to pick up anything else in the Shop (why wouldn't you, though?!? :) ) and want to just pre-order the CD.
But - and this is an even bigger, bigger but - you can get the high-quality download only immediately for a pay-what-you-want price!
But - and this is an even bigger, bigger, bigger but - you can also get a medium-quality download of the record for free. Yes, free.
Please, when you're at that page, do me the favor, extend me the respect, of reading what I have to say. Thanks!

Sadly, UK superstore Music Non Stop has closed it's doors. They will be missed for their wide and excellent selection of electronic/industrial music. Fans of such stuff should look to Storming The Base and Metropolis Mail Order, though - both superlative shops with excellent selections. And, with the strength (or lack thereof) of the dollar these days, the prices for overseas customers should be pretty appealing, too.
On that note, Metropolis Mail Order will soon have the Breathing Again EP. Sorry for the delay, those of you who choose them as your primary source for new music.
3.03.08
Very quickly iTunes corrected the pricing issue for the Breathing Again E.P. - and PayPlay now has it as well for only $3.52. Spiffy.
2.29.08
The Breathing Again E.P. is now on iTunes. However, due to the length of the long version of Breathing Again causing an automatic listing of "album only" - that track will only be available for purchase if you buy the whole e.p. there. And, for the time being, due again to that automatic listing, the price for the e.p. is erronenously set at $9.99! Don't pay that much! It will be corrected very soon to the much more reasonable $3.99. Remember that the videos are only included on the CD version of the e.p. - available here on the Shop page as well as CD Baby, Storming The Base - and soon-ish on Music Non Stop and Metropolis Mail Order.
2.4.08
Out Out is getting play on many stations and podcasts... one to mention is Nachtlich Radio online. Check them out >>here<< - where you can listen to their podcast streaming online.
The Breathing Again E.P. is selling well, thank you everyone. Soon it will be available through Metropolis Mail Order, Music Non Stop and Storming The Base. Stay tuned for that. iTunes and the major download stores will have it soon too. For now, if you want to download it, it can be purchased as an MP3 album directly through CDBaby.com >>here<<.
1.16.08
CD Baby has the Breathing Again E.P. up for sale for those of you who love the 'Baby. Song samples for the E.P. are there too. There is a direct link in the Shop section.
(Hint: CD Baby has a section of $5 specials - buy three specially selected CDs and get them for $5 each. The new E.P. is part of that program over there.)
Also, we've updated the Discography page to reflect the Out Out remix of "Do You Even Remember Me Now?" on the new Battery Cage "Forever Never Ends" album.
1.15.08
First official news of the new year: The Breathing Again E.P. is out! Four songs and two videos.
Available here on the shop page, and very soon on CDBaby. Also, soon, through a few of the usual and most excellent online shops (we'll post updates) and within weeks through all the major legal downloading services.
Order directly from the shop here and get a free matching pinback button. Only six buckaroos, shipping inclusive!
The videos included (in much higher resolution) on the new EP are also available for viewing on the Videos page. Make sure to head over to YouTube and look for other works by Shane Cole and Masked Films - click >>here<<.

On another note, Tom Ellard of the very most excellent Severed Heads is giving away some music through the sevcom.com website. But most importantly, he explains why. His thoughts on the current state of music and how society at large often perceives it, are expressed in his most eloquent words >>here<<. A must read, everyone.
Honestly, after reading Mr. Ellard's words, it's got us considering a similar approach here. Stay tuned - there may be something in it for you all. But, as he so aptly says, "I'll respect you, if you respect me". A wise man, he.
